Sheldon F. Dolinsky, 80, of Mayfield Heights, passed away peacefully last week.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Sheldon served his country in Germany during the 1960s. After his military service, he went on to spend his career as a skilled metal worker with Textron, later known as TRW, which is based in Providence, R.I., where he contributed to the production of machine parts.

Sheldon was known for his kind and easygoing nature. He cherished his friendships and loved spending time with those he cared about. He had a deep affection for his parents, and his stories about growing up, including his time delivering newspapers for the Cleveland Press, brought a smile to many.
