Residents at a South Lanarkshire care home are seeing their loved ones in a whole new light, thanks to a new smart TV system.
David Walker Gardens Care Home in Rutherglen is the first in the UK to be equipped with a system that allows video calls and photo sharing directly through Smart Chatta TVs.
The initiative has already helped reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing among residents.
Following its success, the South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership is now rolling out the system to its other care homes, Meldrum Gardens and McKillop Gardens, as well as its Blantyre LIFE facility.
