NEWAYGO, MI - A home suffered “extensive damage” after a fire Sunday morning, according to the Newaygo County Dispatch.
Fire crews responded at about 10 a.m. to a house fire on the 400 block of Main Street near State Road in the city of Newaygo.
The house is “possibly a total loss,” said a dispatch employee, adding that firefighters were still on scene at 1:30 p.m.
No one was home at the time. No injuries were reported.
The Newaygo Fire Department was assisted by the Fremont Fire Department, Ashland-Grant Fire District, Casnovia Township Fire Department, White Cloud Area Fire-Rescue and Croton Township Fire Department.
