RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Just as football season is in full swing, a popular Raleigh-based sports bar chain was listed among the best sports bar chains in the country.

USA TODAY ranked Carolina Ale House number 10 in their 10Best Readers' Choice list of best sports bar chains. The media outlet released the results last week.

According to USA TODAY, editors and readers independently made their selections after an expert panel nominated regional and national sports bars across the country.

The bar took to social media to announce their ranking. "Thank you, friends and fans! We're honored to be a Top 10 Sports Bar in the country," Carolina Ale House said online.
