Celtic board hit with vote of no confidence from furious fan group as they ramp up the pressure

The under-fire Celtic board have been given a vote of no confidence from one of the leading fan groups. ‌

The Celtic Supporters Association were one of select number of groups who were granted an audience with chief exec Michael Nicholson and members of the board on Friday in the wake of fierce criticism of the club’s handling of the transfer window. ‌

Parkhead bosses responded to the flak with a 1000-word statement late on Saturday night that only fanned the flames of supporter anger. ‌

And now the CSA have cranked up the pressure, along with the long list of supporters groups who penned an open letter to the club demanding more accountability and transparency. ‌

A statement, signed by CSA general secretary Joe O’Rourke, said: "Following on from our meeting on Friday wit
