NORMAL, Ala. (WHNT) — Alabama A&M's Sam Shade picked up his first win as the head man of the Bulldogs program.
The Bulldogs outlasted Alcorn State 41-31 in a track meet of a game in the Louis Crews Classic.
Shade said after the game that he was thrilled to pick up his first win but knows the Bulldogs have things to clean up.
Senior quarterback Quad Brown led the Bulldogs. Brown totaled 359 total yards of offense, tacking on five touchdowns, three through the air, two on the ground.
The Bulldogs offense looked solid all night and once the defense settled in, A&M controlled the game.
A&M will travel to Tennessee State next week as they look to continue their winning ways.
