ATLANTIC CITY — Cherry Poppins, of New York City, was crowned Miss'd America 2026 on Saturday night at Caesars Atlantic City.

Poppins, whose real name is Michael Samhat, was second runner-up at last year's pageant.

“I’m so honored to continue the legacy of the Miss’d America Pageant and look forward to an amazing reign," Poppins said in a statement Sunday. "Thanks to my incredible team — Marty, Tyler, Cory — and a big congratulations to (runners-up) The Countess Mascara and Tiffany FoXXX, and the rest of the amazing contestants.”

This year's theme was "Disco Down," with Poppins winning $5,000 for first place. The Countess Mascara received $2,500 for second, and Tiffany FoXXX got $1,500 for third.
