Boil water notice lifted in Killeen: Gilmer St., Church Ave., McArthur Dr., Henderson St.

KILLEEN, Texas — The City of Killeen lifted its Boil Water Notice for homes on Gilmer Street, Church, Avenue, McArthur Drive and Henderson Street on Sunday.

According to a notice posted on the city's website, the following addresses are no longer strongly encouraged to boil water before use:

608 N. Gilmer St.

606 - 718 W. Church Ave.

600 - 723 McArthur Dr.

615 Henderson St.

The initial Boil Water Notice was issued Sept. 4. The city recommends that homes affected by a Boil Water Notice boil water before consumption.

Public notice will be issued through the City of Killeen website and the Boil Water Notice Hotline at (254) 501-6515 now that the notice is lifted.
