CHATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold in Chatham and Poughkeepsie for Saturday's drawing. Each were worth $50,000.
The Chatham ticket was sold at Stewart's Shops, located at 30 Church Street. In Poughkeepsie, the winning ticket was sold at Stewart's Shops at 3648 Albany Post Road.
Saturday's Powerball jackpot totaled over $1.7 billion -- the second-largest jackpot, Powerball or Mega Millions, ever in the U.S. Two jackpot-winning tickets were sold in Missouri and Texas.
The winning numbers were 61, 23, 62, 44, 11 and a Powerball of 17. Third-prize Powerball tickets can be won if a player matches four of the white ball numbers and the Powerball number.
