United States President Donald Trump was treated to boos at the U.S. Open men’s final at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City on Sunday.

Trump was shown saluting during the national anthem, breaking a smile after the jeers rang out.

Sunday’s appearance marks the first in a decade for Trump where it pertains to this tournament. He arrived at the venue around 1:45 PM, having previously fielded rumors of ill health and even death before he stepped out in public with his family last weekend after not being seen for two days.

The United States Tennis Association issued a memo to broadcasters urging them not to show any disruptive crowd responses to Trump’s presence. But, as you saw in the Twitter/X video above, there were boos after the camera panned to his suite.
