LaCenter, KY, Carolyn Elizabeth (Gragg) Warford, 91, passed away early Sunday morning, September 7, 2025 at NHC Place At The Trace Health Care in Nashville, Tn.

Carolyn Elizabeth Gragg lived most of her youth in Brunswick, Georgia. After she graduated from Glynn Academy in that city, she attended Mars Hill College in North Carolina and Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Her graduate work included the study of organ at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Carolyn taught school in Rome, GA, her hometown Brunswick, GA, Louisville, KY, and Florence, SC.

In 1958, she married Charles A. Warford of Ballard County, KY. Together they served churches in Kentucky, Georgia, Washington, DC, and South Carolina – she as teacher and musician, and he as pasto
