The Washington Commanders defeated the New York Giants 21-6, starting their season off with a 1-0 record and a division win. The score could have been a lot more lopsided, but penalties were an issue all day. Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels both talked about cleaning up the mistakes, and being more efficient going forward. The defense was stout, not allowing a touchdown.
