Fort Jackson has announced that the South Carolina National Guard will be conducting live-fire training at the McCrady Training Center on Sunday, Sept. 7.

Located at 1501 Leesburg Rd. in Eastover, the McCrady Training Center is a 15,000-acre site on the eastern portion of Fort Jackson that serves as a key training area for the South Carolina National Guard.

According to Fort Jackson officials, this training may pose a potential noise hazard to the public, and residents in the surrounding areas may hear loud noises between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
