Saturday afternoon at Folsom Field was a game that Ryan Staub won’t forget, but he and the Colorado Buffaloes don’t have the luxury of celebrating too long.

A redshirt sophomore quarterback, Staub came off the bench to spark the Buffs during a 31-7 rout of Delaware at Folsom Field. Yet, a short week awaits, as CU (1-1) will visit Houston (2-0) in the Big 12 opener on Friday (5:30 p.m., ESPN).

“It’s crazy to be rewarded this way,” Staub said after his 157-yard, two-touchdown performance. “It doesn’t really feel real. But I’m also looking forward to next week. We need to get back to work.”
