A restaurant at the centre of a huge emergency services response has closed temporarily.

Dosa Kingss, a restaurant in Sale that was the focus of a massive emergency services operation after patrons fell ill. It has announced a temporary closure and apologised to customers 'for any inconvenience'.

Emergency services were summoned to the Northenden Road eatery around 12.40pm yesterday (September 6) following reports that several diners had become unwell.

It's understood that a number of customers were treated on-site after falling ill.
