Advocates say the goal of the demonstration was to show support for potential victims.

“This is why everyone is here — we want to say, hey, you are not alone,” said Patricia Redman, a longtime parishioner and parent of children who attended Riverbend Academy. “If you are scared, don’t be afraid.”

Redman said she plans to continue advocating for survivors.
