CANTON ( 25News Now ) - A 38-year-old Canton man faces first-degree-murder and home invasion charges in connection with the death of a 70-year-old Canton man.

Canton Police say they were called to a home on Baxter Court around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday after a man was found dead inside a home.

Fulton County Coroner Austin Rhodes identified the man Thursday as 70-year-old David Kuntz.

In a release Saturday afternoon, Rhodes did not reveal an actual manner of death as the matter is still under investigation, but said the death was an act of homicide.

In that same Saturday release, Canton Police announced the arrest of 38-year-old Rocky Garwood. Police say he is in the Fulton County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
