LOS LUNAS, N.M. (KRQE) – A career photojournalist is having his work featured at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Art. "I became a photojournalist because I was in love with reality," says Rick Kozak.
For more than 40 years, Kozak has been covering the United States and beyond as a photojournalist. From politics, sports, and wars, he's won countless awards for his compelling photographs.
News 13 caught up with Kozak this weekend and asked where his curiosity for photojournalism began. Kozak says his father was a lieutenant in the army, and being the curious kid he was, he snooped around his father's military trunks and found a box with a red lightbulb; and the rest was history.
