Anjayvious Farmer pleaded guilty to a 2023 shooting incident that left two victims wounded.
Mississippi man Anjayvious Farmer was sentenced to 40 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to two counts of attempted murder. The sentence was handed down today in DeSoto County Circuit Court, concluding a case that began with a violent highway shooting in September 2023.
Farmer, who pleaded guilty in June 2025, received two concurrent 40-year sentences. The charges stem from an incident in which Farmer pursued his former girlfriend and her new boyfriend from a gas station in Coldwater, Mississippi, onto Interstate 55.
