A multi-vehicle collision on US-19 results in the death of a passenger and the arrest of one driver for impairment.

A tragic two-vehicle crash on US-19 in Hudson on Sunday night led to the death of a 68-year-old man and the arrest of a 37-year-old woman on charges of DUI Manslaughter. The incident occurred around 8:06 PM on September 7, 2025.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the collision involved a Buick Verano driven by Ashley Silver Marshall, 37, of Brooksville, and a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by a 67-year-old Hudson woman. Both vehicles were traveling northbound on US-19, with the PT Cruiser ahead of the Verano.
