HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A 3-year-old boy was hospitalized after falling from a second-story window on Sunday in Hartford.

Around 7:39 p.m., firefighters responded to 593 Garden Street for the report of a child who fell out of a window.

According to the fire department, crews arrived and found the child back inside the home with a parent.

They said the child was responsive, but was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There were no updates on the status of the boy’s condition.

The police department said this appeared accidental.

Officers are still investigating the incident.
