Deni Avdija ‘s basketball trip to Poland is over.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece defeated Avdija and Israel 84-79 on Sunday in the knockout round of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 tournament in Katowice, Poland.

Israel was eliminated from the international event, while Greece advanced to the quarterfinals, where it will play Latvia.

And while the final score was close, Greece was in control from beginning to end, holding the lead for all but 47 seconds of the game. Antetokounmpo was the main reason why.

Israel had no answer for the two-time NBA MVP, who finished with 37 points and 10 rebounds to power Greece to the field of 16 for the fourth consecutive tournament.
