SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane police arrested a woman suspected of driving under the influence when she crashed into a home in east central Spokane.

According to SPD, a woman in her mid-50s crashed into the corner of a housing complex at 11th Avenue and Ray Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Officers say she suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

A man was inside the home at the time, but he was unharmed.

Once the vehicle is removed from the home, Spokane Fire will determine if the home is safe for people to live in. If not, the Red Cross will assist.
