The dates when the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) state pension age will increase have been disclosed as a fresh rise is being contemplated.
The Labour Party administration and DWP are examining whether the state pension age should ultimately reach 70.
Labour Party Chancellor Rachel Reeves has indicated that a review into elevating the state pension age is necessary to guarantee the system remains "sustainable and affordable".
The Government assessment is scheduled to conclude in March 2029, with Ms Reeves stating it was "right" to examine the age at which individuals can claim the state pension as life expectancy grows.
The state pension age currently stands at 66, climbing to 67 by 2028, and the Government is legally obliged to regularly assess the age, reports Birmingham
