NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Drier and warmer weather will return to New Mexico to start the week. Another round of daily showers and thunderstorms will return starting Wednesday.
It was a much quieter weather day across most of New Mexico Sunday afternoon. A few isolated showers and storms are still popped up over along and east of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and out near the Texas state line in eastern New Mexico. Temperatures were hotter today, too, for the entire state. This warming trend will continue into the middle of this upcoming week. High temperatures through at least Wednesday will feel more like summer again across most of the state.
