Police arrested a 48-year-old Edmonds man for investigation of assaulting two women who work at a massage business Sunday evening.

Edmonds officers responded to the reported attack in the 9700 block of Edmonds Way around 5:45 p.m., police wrote on social media. When they arrived, officers found both women unconscious, according to the report.

Multiple witnesses pointed officers in the direction of a man who fled the business on foot. He was taken into custody nearby without further incident, police said.

The man “acknowledged his involvement” in the violence when talking to officers, but police said his motive remains unclear.

One of the injured employees was transported to Swedish Edmonds hospital, while the other was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, police said. No furt
