Two Thief River Falls children — a teenager and her infant brother — who died in a two-vehicle accident near East Grand Forks Monday probably were killed instantly, according to Coroner Rudolph B. Skogerboe, who examined the bodies.

Charlotte Weiland, 13, and her six-month-old brother Joseph, died when their parents’ pickup truck collided with a tandem farm truck 2½ miles north of East Grand Forks.
