A Robroyston mum has voiced her frustration after a diversion route for a busy road goes right past a primary school.
Sarah Blair is up in arms after a decision was made to send traffic for the closed Robroyston Road, down Standburn Road and past Wallacewell Primary School .
She claims that the road is a problem area at the best of times, and fears the worst now that more traffic, including HGVs, have been sent along the road.
In 2021, a 10-year-old boy was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow after he was hit by a car on the school run.
Then, in 2024, a police investigation was launched after another child was struck by a car on the same road.
