A former tag-team champion who appeared in WWE has died , age 39. Jaka, whose real name was Jonathan Echevarria, had been in intensive care over the weekend having suffered a heart attack. ‌

But his family confirmed that having been ruled as been in a critical condition, he sadly passed away earlier this morning. Beyond Wrestling, where Jaka had performed in 2019, confirmed the death on social media by posting an image of him in the ring surrounded by his peers. The wrote: “The original Ace. RIP Jaka.” ‌
