Antiques Roadshow returned on Sunday evening as one guest brought along his £20 vase that he had bought by mistake for evaluation. The guest admitted he picked up the item at an antiques fair, thinking it was a Royal Lancaster piece, but had later decided it was a "fake copy" and it had been tucked away under his kitchen sink for two years.
He said: "I happened to be looking on the Internet one night and out pops that vase. I was like: 'Hang on a minute, that's the vase that's under the sink! The Internet said it was Zsolnay, which I believe is Hungarian!".
Expert Steven Moore was amazed by the "beautiful" and "glorious" vase, admitting: "I'm almost lost for words because it is just glowing!", reports the Express .
