WA’s leading young scientists will come together this weekend for National Science Week, giving the general public a sneak peek into cutting-edge research destined for international acclaim.
The interactive event on August 16 will lead to 15 of WA’s brightest young scientists stepping out of the lab and presenting their cutting-edge research directly to the public at a one-day event at UWA.
The Forrest Research Foundation will host its second annual National Science Week Showcase at UWA’s Forrest Hall on August 16, from 12pm to 5pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the minds behind new plastic-eating bacteria research, black hole modelling, AI use to improve cancer diagnostics and more, with a jam-packed program of presentations throughout the day.
