They gave up seven more power plays in Saturday’s 5-3 loss to the Barrie Colts before 950 fans at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre in Midland.
“For exhibition games, they’ve been pretty intense,” Letang said. “They’ve been very physical. A lot of little stuff after the whistles.
“It’s been good evaluation really getting to see them when the game’s on the line or when the pressure ramps up. Who’s able to keep that cool head? I thought tonight and the other night we lost our cool a little bit.”
