The Storey County Sheriff's Office is trying to reunite a dog found wandering close to the streets in Virginia City with its owner.

The dog was found near the intersections of B and C Streets in Virginia City, according to a post on Facebook from the SCSO.

The dog was safely taken to the detention center kennels.

The Sheriff's Office provided a photo of the dog, which can be seen above. If she is yours, you are asked to contact the detention center at (775) 847-0929.
