Several Triad breweries came away with awards at the 2025 NC Brewers Cup Competition.

The competition, in its 14th year, is organized by the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild.

This year the competition drew "a record 935 entries from 123 North Carolina’s independent craft breweries, marking it as the Southeast’s largest commercial beer competition," the guild said.

Those entries were judged in 36 categories.

Top among Triad winners was Little Brother Brewing in Greensboro, which won a gold award for its Heavy Hands (Pilsner-Style & Hoppy Lager), silver awards for its Small Fires (North American-Style Lager) and User Friendly (Other American Pale Lagers & Ales), bronze awards for its Pleasing Gene (Historic Beer) and King in the Castle (Strong Ale), and honorable mention for its Pyrle
