Local filmmaker Susan Wasserman’s latest film, “Making Awareness,” will have its world premiere at the Cleveland Jewish Film Fest 2025 at 1 and 3 p.m. Sept. 14 as part of the Maltz Museum Shorts Program at the museum at 2929 Richmond Road in Beachwood.

The film is about the story of how two Israeli artists with determination and continued hope, designed and distributed the kidnapped hostage posters in New York City in the aftermath of Oct. 7, 2023.
