MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A registered sex offender with a history spanning 26 years is back in jail tonight. 42-year-old Loard Cole is facing b ond revocation for allegedly violating some key conditions that kept him out of prison.

The latest affidavit for Cole labels him a violent sex offender. Cole was sentenced to eight years of supervised probation for attempted rape. Investigators say that includes prohibitions on leaving the state, contact with kids and social media accounts and that's what landed him back in trouble.

FOX13 interviewed Cole several years ago when his restaurant was vandalized. Back then he was hoping police would catch the criminals. Now they've caught him again. Cole pleaded guilty to attempted statutory rape in 2023. Police say late last year he violated the terms of
