Two large garages east of Billings, guarded by an attack ewe that sent her owner to the hospital, are filled with a kaleidoscope of oddities that “tramp miner” Tina Schield can’t bear to part with.

The collection, assembled by her father Willie Schield, ranges from a battered and tarnished old tuba to a fully restored 1940 Ford sedan refinished to resemble a black and white Billings police car.

In the room where the car is stored, rows of shiny chrome hubcaps line the walls as old bicycles hang from wires overhead, including Tina’s childhood Schwinn Sting-Ray, complete with a banana seat.
