Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson acknowledged the shoving incident with a Buffalo Bills fan during Sunday night’s game at Highmark Stadium.

Moments after DeAndre Hopkins made a highlight reel 29-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter, NBC Sports’ cameras showed a Bills fan in the front row slapping the veteran wide receiver on his helmet while celebrating with his teammates.

Unhappy with the fan’s actions and wanting to defend his teammate, Lamar Jackson shoved the fan back in a viral moment:

Speaking to reporters after the game, Lamar Jackson said it was simply a case of him letting his emotions get the better of him.

“I let my emotions get the best of me, but hopefully it don’t happen again,” the two-time MVP said. “I’ll learn from that.”
