If you are a tween or teenager or the parent of one, you’re familiar with the Disney Channel’s Zombies and Descendants high school musical movie franchises.

The latest installment is “Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires.” Malachi Barton stars as Victor, a young vampire with a killer smile and heart of gold.

After a decade in the Disney system, the role has elevated Barton to the next level of stardom/heartthrob status. At age 18, he has 2.8 million Instagram followers.

He and other cast members are singing and dancing their way across North America on the Descendants/Zombies Worlds Collide Tour. The 43-date arena tour stops at the Smoothie King Center on Friday.
