MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Malta man is facing charges after allegedly kicking and injuring a Labrador Retriever in his home on Knabner Road. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Eugene Willis, 69, was arrested after deputies received a complaint on August 28.
Deputies said they received an animal complaint against Willis around 10:33 a.m. He is accused of kicking the dog, resulting in bruising and difficulty for the animal to relieve itself. Both the injured dog and another brown Labrador Retriever at the home were taken by the Malta animal control officer.
He was charged with misdemeanor overdriving, torturing and injuring animals.
According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, the animals were transported to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, where they are receiving
