A Powerball lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a convenience store in Wayne Couty in the latest Powerball drawing.
The third-place winning ticket was sold at the Fastrac at 1933 Route 104 in Ontario. The ticket was one of four third-place winning tickets worth $100,000 sold in in New York for the Saturday, Sept. 6 Powerball drawing . The other three tickets were sold in Constantia in Oswego County, Flushing in Queens County and Newburgh in Orange County.
Saturday's jackpot was worth $1.787 billion. Two winning tickets - sold in Missouri and in Texas - will split the jackpot, which was the second-largest in the game's history, according to lottery officials.
