The UK Health and Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an urgent alert about "one of the infectious diseases" as infections have surged dramatically. This disease is significantly more contagious than the common cold, COVID-19 and many other illnesses.

In a warning on social media platform X, the UKHSA urged people to make sure both they and their children are vaccinated against measles. Measles is an infection that transmits very easily and can lead to serious complications for some people, reports MyLondon .
