The man accused of murdering 20-year-old student Mohammed Algasim has pleaded not guilty to murder. At a plea hearing on Monday (September 8), 21-year-old Chas Corrigan pleaded not guilty to the alleged murder at Mill Park on August 1.
Standing in the docks at Cambridge Crown Court , Chas Corrigan, of Holbrook Road in Cambridge , also pleaded guilty to having an article with a blade or point in a public place with no good or lawful reason.
Peter Corrigan, who has been charged with assisting an offender, attended the hearing and pleaded guilty.
The courtroom heard further details of the charge faced by 50-year-old Peter Corrigan of Vinter Terrace, Cambridge. The court clerk described concealment of an offender's clothing.
