A guest at a Pennsylvania wedding is facing assault charges after he allegedly punched the bride in the face when he was “cut off” from alcohol.

John Cianci of Sharpsville, Pa., was attending the event at The Woods at Eisler Farms in Connoquenessing Township on Aug. 29.

However, things took a turn when Cianci allegedly became “extremely angry and violent” after he was “cut off” from alcohol, the criminal complaint said, obtained by KDKA.

A witness told police that the bride was knocked to the ground after Cianci hit the bride in the face with a “round house” style punch.

That didn’t stop Cianci, who was described as “extremely irate,” and the man went on to allegedly punch three other people who tried to subdue him, according to the police document.
