TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people are dead after a south Toledo house fire Monday morning, Toledo Fire and Rescue confirmed.
Firefighters responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Dorian Drive regarding a house fire around 6:30 a.m. TFRD Assistant Fire Chief John Kaminski said there was heavy fire throughout the structure.
Kaminski said firefighters began an "aggressive attack" on the blaze. He confirmed that a neighbor entered the house prior to TFRD's arrival and removed an adult male victim from the fire.
The adult male was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where he later died, TFRD confirmed. He was later identified as Donald Glore, age 61.
