Prince Harry has been pictured leaving Heathrow Airport as he returns to the UK for the first time in five months.

The duke, who lives in the US with his wife Meghan and their children, was last on home shores in April for a court hearing over the level of security protection he receives from the government while here.

The 40-year-old is in London to attend the annual WellChild Awards, a cause close to his heart as the charity’s long-standing patron, before travelling to a community recording studio in Nottingham on Tuesday.

It is not known whether Prince Harry, who is estranged from his brother, the Prince of Wales , and has a troubled relationship with his father, the King , will stage a reunion during his stay.
