LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has called on the board of trustees to make the Razorbacks vs. Red Wolves an annual football game at War Memorial Stadium.

Gov. Sanders sent a letter to both the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees and the Arkansas State Board of Trustees imploring them to make the in-state clash a yearly game in Little Rock.

The governor said that the long-awaited clash between the Razorbacks and Red Wolves this past weekend — a game where the Hogs won 56-14 — marked a historic moment for the State of Arkansas and the City of Little Rock.

In the letter to the board of trustees, Gov. Sanders said the following:
