RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A meeting of the North Carolina Board of Elections will take place this morning and one item on the agenda is the project to repair thousands of voter registrations.
The Registration Repair Project is a statewide effort led by the NCSBE to update voter records by collecting missing identification numbers.
The board is set to discuss guidance for counties and a program to validate a voter's un-matched identification number.
This follows Durham County Board of Elections releasing a Registration Repair Dashboard, a visual report that highlights the more than 4,000 Durham County voters who are affected by the North Carolina State Board of Elections' Registration Repair Project.
