United Airlines has announced that will operate a new nonstop service from Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) to Newark Liberty International Airport beginning in January 2026.

The addition of this service will bring the carrier's route offerings from CAE to three destinations - Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Newark.

The route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. United Airlines indicated that it is planning on utilizing CRJ-550 regional jets, with 50 seats and three different class cabins.
