Plans to move the Coventry Transport Museum into the former IKEA have been hailed as a 'brilliant opportunity.' Homes could be built on the site of the decades-old building on Millennium Place.
CoventryLive previously revealed that 300 homes could be constructed on land currently occupied by the Coventry Transport Museum . It would form part of the regeneration project City Centre North.
It was revealed in 2023 that Coventry City Council was considering moving the Transport Museum to IKEA on Croft Road. Councillor Jim O'Boyle confirmed they are pressing ahead with the plans, and some items have already been moved into the building.
